Here are the findings from Baylie's MRI

I have no idea what it means and the doctors don't know why her arms are "falling asleep".


Findings: There are multiple congenital fusion abnormalities of the vertebral bodies involving the cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine that would be better evaluated on CT.
the craniocervical junction is within normal limits. The adenoid tonsils are not significantly enlarged. There is enlargement of the lingual tissue downwardly displacing the epiglottis.
There is incomplete anterior fusion of the C1 vertebral body as well is incomplete posterior fusion of the C1 posterior processes. The dens is incompletely fused to the body of C2. There is abnormal bony fusion between C7 and T1 on the left with narrowing of the left neuroforamen best demonstrated on image 7 of series 13 and image 9 of series 11. There may be fusion of the posterior aspect of T1 and C7 eccentrically to the left.
Imaging of the thoracic spine demonstrates abnormal posterior fusion at T 4 and T5 of the posterior spinous processes. The remainder of the thoracic spine is unremarkable.
Imaging of the lumbar spine demonstrates abnormal L4 -- 5 fusion on the left with a narrow the right 51 neural foramen. There appears to be a prominent left 81 nerve root. There is normal position of the conus which terminates at L 1. No cord abnormality signal.
A gastrostomy tube is present. There is no hydronephrosis. Image portions of the posterior liver and spleen are unremarkable.
Impression: Multiple fusion abnormalities involving the cervical, thoracic and lower lumbar spine as described above. These fusion abnormalities may result in neural foraminal narrowing. CT of the cervical and lumbar area may be useful for further evaluation. No evidence of tethered cord.
